A Teaching Chef's job duties include demonstrating the proper techniques to prepare food, showing students how to use kitchen equipment, and teaching a variety of recipes. You may also develop lesson plans and collaborate with other teachers.Requirements:Bachelor of Education (Elementary or Secondary) degree, or equivalent trainingValid BC Teaching CertificateRed Seal Certification requiredFor your application to be considered, all required documents must be included with your application which include:resumecover letterrecent teaching reports and/or practicum reports (if available)copy of BC Teaching Certificate and/or TQS card or information on current statusSalary range is $59,711 to $109,520, with placement on the range based on length of service, FTE and qualifications in accordance with the Collective Agreement.
