Description: The Cook II is responsible for the preparation, pre-preparation, cooking, and baking of a wide variety of menu items for patient/resident meals, cafeteria, and catering. Other responsibilities include ensuring the appropriate use of food supplies, performing cleaning duties, participating in the training of students, relieving staff in other Food Services areas and performing other related duties as required. The Cook II performs these tasks in accordance with established standards, and the Mission, Vision, Values, policies and procedures of Covenant Health. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the CUPE 2111 Collective Agreement. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Additional Required Qualifications: As Required. Preferred Qualifications: As Required.
