Our gorgeous Sud Forno Produzione e Spaccio East location houses a one of a kind open concept commissary kitchen, a fully licensed restaurant and a Sud Forno retail storefront which also features a café and quick service counter. In this unique and beautifully designed space, customers can eat and drink while overlooking the creative lab as our chefs and cooks are busy making breads,pastries, pastas and other goods for our locations and for purchase at the storefront. It is a lively environment where wine, food and the theatrics of production meet. What we are looking for: We are looking for full time Barista/Retail Associates to join the FOH team at our Sud Forno Produzione e Spaccio East location in the Corktown neighbourhood of downtown Toronto. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, curating amazing experiences for our customers and brings a positive and professional work ethic. If pulling the perfect Italian espresso and crafting the perfect cappuccino brings you joy or you are simply are eager to learn these beautiful skills we want to hear from you! Description of Role: As an important member of our FOH Café Retail team, you are the first person our guests meet upon entering our café storefront and therefor play an integral role in delivering excellent customer service to our guests. Greeting guests with a cheerful and outgoing personality and offering an outstanding customer service experience are the primary responsibilities of the Barista/Retail Associate…and of course making the perfect Italian coffee every order! We are looking for candidates that offer flexible availability that can work a combination of morning and afternoon shifts during the week day and on weekends. Some counter service and or barista experience is preferred but not necessary as we provide on the job training. Working knowledge of TOAST POS is an asset. A passion for Italian food and culture a must! Smart Serve Certification required. Requirements

Candidates should possess a positive, professional work ethic and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. A Smart Serve Certification is required, and while previous barista experience is preferred, on-the-job training is provided.
