This is a posting for an existing job vacancy 10am - 3pm Mon-Fri hours may fluctuate +/- based on business needs How you will make an impact: You will be responsible for supporting our daily operations with a wide range of tasks such as cleaning, food preparation, serving meals, and dishwashing. As a Multi Skilled Worker, you will: * Perform housekeeping duties such as maintaining the cleanliness of kitchen, service areas and equipment. * Assist with food preparation, set up and cleanup of kitchen and service work areas, dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen. * Perform duties according to health & safety guidelines, report all injuries and hazards to the supervisor immediately and other reasonable requests from management * Food prep includes but not limited to: grill service of breakfast & lunch, salads, sandwiches, pizza, etc * Strict adherence to food safety practices, tracking and documentation About you: * You must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent * Previous housekeeping and food services experience is an asset * Previous experience in the healthcare environment or long-term care setting is preferred * Able to work independently and as part of a team * Good command of English language, both verbal and written and ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Requirements

A valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent is required, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team and to follow written and verbal instructions. Previous housekeeping or food service experience is an asset, and healthcare or long-term care experience is preferred; good spoken and written English is also required.
