Job summary

The food counter attendant is responsible for preparing, portioning, and wrapping food items while maintaining a clean and sanitized kitchen environment. They also handle customer orders, stock supplies, and perform general cleaning duties such as dishwashing and waste removal.

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma Experience: No experience (will train) Tasks Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts and waste disposal units Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware Place dishes in storage area Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand Package take-out food Portion and wrap foods Prepare, heat and finish simple food items Stock refrigerators and salad bars Take customers' orders Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas Remove kitchen garbage and trash Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit Security and safety Bondable Transportation/travel information Own transportation Work conditions and physical capabilities Fast-paced environment Standing for extended periods Work under pressure Personal suitability Team player Ability to multitask Dependability Employment terms options Evening Shift Morning Night Employment terms options On call Day Weekend Work Term: Permanent Work Language: English Hours: 40 hours per week
